Below is all the information for the Land Rover Kentucky 3 day Event. Last year 4 of us went and it was a blast. Let me know if you are interesting in coming with us this year. You don’t have to do everything we do (there is plenty of stuff to do in KY) but I wanted to extend the invitation to those who are interested so I can start planning on what size AirBnB we will need. All details below.
The Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event is an Eventing competition held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky on the last weekend of April. Horse and rider duos compete at the highest level in the sport under the CCI5*-L designation. This is the same level as Olympic riders and the World Equestrian Games. Prize money of $400,000 is distributed among the top placings.
Although the event’s name continues to reflect its roots as a three-day competition, the Kentucky Three-Day Event currently takes place over four days (Thursday through Sunday). Due to a large number of entries, both Thursday and Friday are devoted to Dressage. Cross-Country is on Saturday, and show jumping is on Sunday. Join us for this exciting weekend of world-class equestrian competition.

You can arrange your own accommodation or you can opt to share an AirBnb. I try to get everyone their own room if possible. Let me know if you want to share an Airbnb.
Schedule for the weekend:
- Thursday (4/25)
Leave at 8am to drive to KY (carpool) 8 hour drive
Dinner in KY and shopping for some items to have at the Airbnb (coffee, snacks, etc)
- Friday (4/26)
Breakfast at Airbnb or out
Pick up head sets
Watch Dressage (4* dressage 8am-11:30am and 5* dressage 12:30-4:10pm)
Shopping
CSI4* Show jumping at 7pm
Dinner out
- Saturday (4/27)
Grab quick breakfast at Airbnb
Watch Cross country (4* XC 9am-11:45am and 5* XC 1pm-4:15pm)
CSI4* Show jumping 6:30pm
Order Pizza in for dinner back at Airbnb
