Ending The 2019 Riding Season

As I look back over the last year I find that there were very many good things that I am thankful for!  Tru and I did some more horse trials, although, I do feel he truly does not like jumping as much as I do and I am in the process of turning him into a strictly dressage horse. I gained some awesome clients who I helped with the purchase of their first horses. I started coaching the Campbell University Equestrian Team, and we are teaching a record breaking amount of lessons at Saddletree with 9 great instructors and 30 trusty lesson horses. I also finished my teaching certification through the United States Eventing Association, which was a huge hurdle and I am glad I finally finished it.

Overall, it’s been a great year and I hope I can top in it 2020 with some more recognized shows and continuing my riding career as this year was more focused on my teaching side of my business. I love both equally so it makes it difficult to prioritize one over the other.

I am so thankful for all the people who have helped me get to where I am and that I get to do what I love everyday!  Cheers!
